Description: John J. Burns Town Park in Massapequa is a "Ten Star" park and athletic complex and the Home Field of the 2023 Little League Softball World Series Champions! Also known as Burns Park, the 52 acre facility has seven ballfields, a regulation football stadium and soccer/lacrosse field, a junior soccer field, multipurpose field, tennis courts, basketball and handball courts. In addition to fields and courts, the park also has several parking areas, a playground, restrooms and boat ramp. Home of the Massapequa Mustangs,The Massapequa Lacrosse Club and the Massapequa Coast Little League. Fun Fact: In 2008, The Boys of Slumber" set the Guinness World Record for the "The longest baseball game played between two teams." The fundraising game at Burns Park lasted 33 hours, 15 minutes and 44 seconds.
