Description: Hempstead Playground, located on the border between Queens and Nassau County, may be the eastern most ball field in Queens, NY. Hempstead Playground is part of the NYC Parks system and is often the place for serious, over 30, league games. There are very little amenities or parking, this field is located on the off ramp of the Cross Island Parkway and is fenced in on all sides. See photos for details.
